    Introduction

I have designed posters for clients such as Galleriet G18 (an art gallery in Helsinki), Café Bar 9 (which also hosts monthly exhibitions), and Franck Media (an award-winning Finnish documentary production company). For Franck Media, the posters were a part of a press release occasion accompanying the production of a new series.

I work in Photoshop (for photo manipulation) and InDesign (for the actual design), but I can also create hand-drawn visual elements or lettering.

Please enjoy this small selection of some of my favorite works! You can browse them by using the next-button above the image.

    Cafe Bar 9: posters 2010

These are the designs for the 2010 posters for Café Bar 9 in Helsinki, Finland. Like the 2009-equivalent, they were to have a unified, minimalistic style and aim to make the image itself the most important message of the poster. The posters are all A2. Color corrections are done in Adobe Photoshop, and the design is in InDesign.

None of the artwork on the posters is mine - they are all by their respective artists. For more information about each poster, please contact me or view the Café Bar 9 website.

    Cafe Bar 9: posters 2009

I was asked to design a series of posters and invitations for the exhibitions held at Cafe Bar 9, in Helsinki. They were to have a unified style, and to be minimalistic, in order to let the image itself speak. The posters are all A2. Color corrections are done in Adobe Photoshop, and the design is in InDesign.

None of the artwork on the posters is mine - they are all by their respective artists. For more information about each poster, please contact me or view the Café Bar 9 website.

    Business in the Family-posters

I was asked to create two posters with photographs from the series of "Business in the Family" by Franck Media.
I made one poster on a black background, and another on a white background, and in this image they hang side-by-side.
It was a challenge to manipulate the photographs so that not too much detail would be lost when they are blown up to huge sizes. I also had to do a certain amount of color-correction. The corrections, change of resolution, and resizing was done in Adobe Photoshop. The final layout was done in InDesign.

The series "Business in the Family" is a copyright of Franck Media
